      Pros

      CHS feels like a big family. There is great flexibility, growth, opportunity, support, and community involvement.

      Cons

      The only con I have found is that I live a ways away so the drive is a bit in the winter to HQ.

      Pros

      Even in a couple of lean years they have stayed busy and there have been no layoffs; annual pay increases have remained in tact. When the markets turn around again, the potential bonus set up is generous.

      Cons

      Corporate headquarters is in Minnesota; we are a long ways from Minnesota, and it often feels that way. CHS in name only, based upon the signs on the outside of the building. Hard to feel like we are truly part o the CHS team.

      Pros

      Great benefits, decent salary, corporate office is a great place to work but stay out of the country locations..

      Cons

      Country locations make you work in operations regardless of job description. Hours worked in the fall and spring are 10 -12 hour days 7 days a week. No such thing as work life balance.
