Leadership Prioritizes Optics Over People

Pros

PTO Fun at times Benefits

Cons

My experience with this organization has shown a growing disconnect between leadership’s stated values and the day‑to‑day reality for employees and clients. There is a strong emphasis on appearance, new technology, and high‑visibility initiatives, yet the basics of patient‑centered care and staff support often feel overlooked. Despite rising costs and ongoing staffing challenges, many employees still haven’t received cost‑of‑living increases. It’s difficult to hear repeated explanations and promises in meetings while resources continue to be spent on projects that don’t directly improve patient care or support frontline teams. The work many of us do is meaningful, but it’s hard to feel valued when financial decisions don’t reflect the needs of the people actually delivering care. I hope leadership eventually aligns their investments with their mission and the well‑being of both patients and staff

Difficult Place to Work

Pros

- Some great teams and people - Certain roles can be fairly isolated from key company issues - Opportunities to gain experience

Cons

- A lot of mismanaged change. The more your job is impacted by centralized decision making (over office to office), the more confusing and chaotic it will be - People in high level leadership positions are il equipped to be there and lack experience in managing a large organization. Nobody seems to know how to steer the ship.
