Traumatizing experience; they don't really care about their employees
Pros
Ok salary, good location and can learn a lot in a short period of time. Some people and managers/partners are nice.
Cons
Other managers treat you like a dog in some departments. The break minutes are counted to the second. They may start screaming at you for standing up from your chair 2 times in 1 hour, or for other unjustified reasons. There is one department where nobody stays for too long - not because of the workload, but because a manager (recently promoted to director) managed to kick everyone out including other managers, seniors and juniors as a result of her casual anger breakdowns. Here the fact that you are competent means nothing if you aren't the type to be held in a leash all day long and apologize on your knees for something you didn't even do inherently wrong. Dictatorship-style, dead&toxic atmosphere. Some people are cool, but if you take breaks together you may be accused of boycotting the management. Worse than in communism. A perfect fit for CLA Romania should: - be responsible and highly disciplined (need to be at the office before 9:00 and stay overtime, otherwise it is deemed that you do disrespect the office culture) - display strategic mindset and critical thinking (every minute of you moving around in the office is taken out of your 1-hour lunch break time; need to learn how to maximize lunch time and minimize the trips to the bathroom/kitchen and back to your desk) - thrives under pressure (got to learn to focus on your work and ignore background noises - screams - as a lot of conflicts are resolved through public arguments) - are a silent typer (otherwise you may be screamed at for making too much noise on the keyboard) To everyone who has self-respect and wants to grow both professionally and personally at work: do yourself a favour and look for something else!
