Pros

Executive leadership seems to have a clear vision and strong direction for the company. Coworkers are supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely help each other out. Good exposure to complex accounts and hands on experience that helps you grow technically. Strong team dynamic at the peer level, which is what keeps people going.

Cons

Work life balance is effectively nonexistent, with ten hour days feeling like the baseline rather than the exception. Workload consistently exceeds reasonable capacity and does not ease up, leading to sustained burnout. Noticeable turnover within the servicing team, with multiple departures tied to the same issues of overwork and burnout. The work environment is highly reactive, with constant urgency, shifting priorities, and little clarity on what should take precedence. There is a culture within senior service leadership that relies heavily on pressure rather than support. Communication and feedback can come across as overly critical and, at times, dismissive. Over time, this creates an environment that feels mentally draining and, in some cases, crosses into what many would reasonably describe as a toxic dynamic rather than a performance driven one. Unlimited PTO is advertised but not realistically supported. Taking time off often carries an unspoken stigma, and employees are expected to make up the work either before or after being out. In practice, this makes it difficult to take meaningful time off without increasing your workload and stress. There is a clear misalignment between expectations and resources. Employees are held to a high standard of ownership and output, but staffing levels, systems, and workflows do not support those expectations, leaving individuals to absorb the gap. Overall, the role becomes unsustainable over time, not due to lack of capability, but due to the cumulative effect of workload, pressure, and lack of structural support.

Pros

Strong CORE values and a collaborative culture. Leadership prioritizes mentoring and provides the support needed to grow both professionally and personally.

Cons

Fast-paced environment (Like an Insurance Agency) with high expectations tied to CORE values, which can be challenging, but balanced by strong mentoring and support.

Best Place To Work!

Pros

I have been in the insurance industry over 25 years and this has been the best agency/best fit for me. CMR is a great company with a great work environment. I believe the culture of an agency starts at the top and here it starts with Travis Pearson, their CEO. Not only is Travis very intelligent and knowledgeable (and always willing to share his knowledge) but he puts his employees first. He and his executive leadership team want to see their employees succeed in a happy environment and provide the support necessary to do so. They recently hired an in-house trainer which is very beneficial for new hires, making it a much better onboarding experience. If you are looking for a new career or are already in the industry and would like to expand your knowledge and not afraid to work hard, CMR would be a great fit. CMR is growing rapidly. I believe if they maintain their current executive leadership team, their future outlook is outstanding.

Cons

CMR has high expectations but will support you and give you the tools necessary to meet those expectations.
