Pros

My experience at Computer Methods was good. What was good about it was: my fellow coworkers, the salary, the location, the office, and the overall environment. I also felt that I learned a lot and had opportunities to grow.

Cons

As some people said, the direction was lacking though I feel that it has gotten better in the last few months. The product is good and as a programmer one really has the opportunity to work on exciting stuff.

Pros

The best part of CMiC is the people you work with. The other grunts, whether support or development are great people. There are company events that are great fun, holiday party, BBQs and others.

Cons

Upper Management is an absolute mess. There is little focus or communication provided to the rest of the company. Sales and upper management are in bed together. The rest of the departments are left floating in space, dealing with existing client's issues. The technology is very outdated and little progress was made during my time to update the dev tools and platform. Most people that deal with the existing clientele base take on multiple roles in an attempt to get any work done. During my time there were too few staff to properly manage the client issues that arrived every day.
