Very competitive salary and benefits package, job stability, growth opportunities to build long-term career, company culture that brings out passion and helpfulness in employees

Cons

First few weeks/months can be challenging - learning who does what, where to find the info you're looking for, how to gets things done, etc. in such a large company (geographically spread out with many different departments and jobs)

Great place to work, good compensation with many opportunities for growth professionally. Would regiment working at CN to anybody.

Cons

Being forced to paticipate in strike relief, often filling in for dangerous jobs like train conductors with minimal training.
