Pros

Exciting, dynamic, "brand-name" job for people looking to get a start in journalism. Well-resourced with plenty of opportunities to try new things.

Cons

Little upward mobility past the Producer I level. Stick around too long and your get on the list for next round of layoffs. Job security extremely limited. Compensation is generally lower than the broadcast networks. Significant promotions or raises are based more on seniority than talent.
