      Pros

      Great and friendly people. Many are helpful and cooperative. Unique work perks and alright work life balance. Will pay your worth if you are good.

      Cons

      Decision makers are driven by Product team which consultation of Software team. Projects are driven by first to market approach which could mean tight deadlines for software development team, especially for big projects. Base pay is below market, but they are not afraid to pay your worth if you show it.

      PTO, free parking, bonus potential

      Real lack of talent at the management level, which seems to permeate the company. Person I worked with didn't grasp the title of supervisor. She was a nice person, but clearly over-whelmed for the position she was hired for. Whenever I asked for guidance, I was provided with an often times confusing answer. Asked for clarification and received a different answer to the same question a day or two later. The company "grapevine" was my supervisor was hired as a favor to an executive. I have no problem with a wink, wink, nod, nod type of hiring process, but why put this person in a position with management type responsibility? Overall not a solid experience

      We are aware that this is one of several reviews from the same former employee posted on multiple sources who unfortunately was one of the few who did not have a good experience here at COCC. While we always attempt to hire candidates who fit our culture, there is sometimes a disconnect. However, we believe that our eight consecutive years as a Top Workplace in Connecticut has not happened by accident, and our continued efforts to engage with our employees and respond to their feedback have been worthwhile. We continue to receive recognition from our employees, our clients, and the industry overall because of our highly engaged workforce that truly does make COCC a great place to work!

      Good environment, Great people, Company Culture. Executives vision is providing strong growth. Very low turn over.

      Cons

      Salary is far below market average. Upward mobility is extremely ambiguous.
