Pros

Base Salary, and benefits starting from day one. Reimbursement for licensing. Marketing costs split with company

Cons

Be prepared to sell life insurance, and non-competitive investment products. Be prepared to spend most of your commissions on leads, just to meet your sales goals so you can keep your job.

Pros

Great company true to its values. Highly rated products. Excellent new representative support. A great company to begin an insurance career in.

Cons

Difficulty competing with prices. Too frequent benchmark/unit definition changes. Often stressful with an emotional roller coaster type of environment in the beginning.
