You get to make your own schedule, but that does not give you any more flexibility, as you only have time to work. There is no work life balance in this position. They staff for slow times, Often times don't replace those that quit, retire, or are terminated. They don't account for staffing due to the PTO and training. This is a 50 hour a week job during "slow" times, and 60-70 when busier. Your loyal years of service, things in your personal life, etc. are not considered.
