Wages, That's it. Nothing else is a "pro".

Cons

No work/life balance. No supervision "vision". Getting cussed out by management daily is a part of corporate culture. Never in my years of experience has another employer used the "F" word in anger at their employees--and been very unresponsive when I protested being treated in such a way.

Hire in with little experience, learn the railroad in and out, get to know all KCS's customers. Advancement Opportunities for all.

Cons

I have not had a con yet. Management Benefits are not as good a Union Employee's. Can be challenging if you do not want learn or push yourself to learn more.

None. Any positive reviews on this are from company plants. I used to have nothing but good things to say about the company. After Harrison the place turned into a nightmare.

Cons

If you want to be treated poorly and managed by incompetent lunatics this is the place for you. If you want a life and a workplace where you are treated with dignity and respect dont work here. I worked here for over ten years. I thought it would be tough to leave but after being abused by the Hunters henchmen for years now I have no regrets.
