Pros
Wide variety of tasks, fast paced work environment, compensation is decent though raises are merely cost of living increases.
Cons
Fear based "consequence leadership" approach to management leads to extremely poor morale. 7 day a week work environment. People readily "made examples of" to achieve compliance from other managers. Middle managers have too many direct reports and cannot effectively monitor and coach their performance. Safety compliance is derived from checking inputs into tracking software and expressing frustration on redundant conference calls.
