Pros
You learn how to fix pretty much everything from phones, tablets, computers, game consoles, etc. You not only fix stuff in the back, but you deal with people up front. So you grow your customer service skills. It’s an overall great place to grow your skills and experience to get an entry level IT job out in the field. Flexible hours depending on location.
Cons
Personally my pay was great, but I’ve heard others weren’t so lucky. Depends on owner and success of the individual shops. You’re happiness and love for your job depends solely on the owner of your location. Luckily, the place I worked at has an AWESOME owner who loves his employees. No real benefits. Maybe vacation and sick days if you’re lucky.
