Pros

As a young professional, I have aspirations of climbing the corporate ladder and settling down in San Antonio. I believe CPS Energy is exactly the place to do this. There is so much opportunity for growth. Management encourages taking risks while simultaneously creating a safe place to land when things get challenging. My favorite aspect by far would have to be the lack of micromanagement. I genuinely believe my leadership trusts me to get the job done. This is where I plan to settle down - I think everyone should consider a career at CPS Energy.

Cons

I don't think CPS Energy pays as competitively as other companies - so salary progression is slow but as a government entity, I understand the justification behind this - but this would be the only frustration I have had thus far - however, this is remedied with limitless growth potential.
