Pros

They have a deli, and a car lot that you can buy from if you want a 19% interest rate. They do offer bonuses once a month(don't get too excited, it's very small)I was so happy when I was hired 5 years ago. I thought that they actually wanted me, that i would be valued. I was wrong!

Cons

England's have an attitude that I should feel "lucky to work here." I have lost 15% of my earnings each year.I can no longer afford to work here. I cannot They are a teaching school. The drivers are students. If they are late, it is my error. While we haven't had a raise in 2 years and they have decreased my bonus by over 50%, Each department is in constant conflict with one another, even though we work for the same company and are supposed to have the same goal. I personally lost $500.00 in one month because of another persons 4DX goal.I am not the only employee this has happened to. It's across the board. Yet another turnover of management comes in and think they are going to "fix" the major issues, we are hopeful, then, we lose more money, While requesting us to now work 6 days a week,I can't afford to feed my family and now you want more of me? 10-11 hours a day M-F and 1 Saturday a month isn't enough. Terrible moral, move on,don't do it!

Pros

Good miles, support team, maintenance team, new trucks with automatic transmission.I feel like the company genuinely cares about all their employees.

Cons

The pay is not equal to other companies. They miss opportunities to keep you running sometimes. Weekends are hard to get a load if your current load ends on weekends and they didn't set up another load you will set and will not get a good load. The after hours and weekend support teams are limited on ability to get loads or make changes.

Pros

It's a job, not a career. If you can do something else, do it. Review the reviews before applying and good luck.

Cons

They will lie to you and promise you a lot of money 70k, but you will not see that all. The average DM makes about 40K a year if your lucky. Your pay is heavily dependent on the crazy bonus structure which is unattainable so don't think your going to make a lot of money. If drivers leaves the company or gets fired for no fault of your own, you lose some of your bonus. (Just FYI, the turnover rate for Truck Drivers at England is around 160%). So, basically they are losing Truck Drivers before they start training, good luck. The reason they lose some many Truck Drivers is because of the low pay and the Driver Managers pushing them because the Driver Managers are getting pushed by the Supervisors. If your Truck Drivers don't drive enough miles, you lose part of your bonus. As a Driver Manager you will manage up 30 drivers (New Driver Manager plan) and it is a 24 / 7 job. So the earlier post stating they have weekends off is not true at all. England will tell you, 7-4 is when you earn your salary, $33,000.00 while in training, $35,000.00 if you make out of training, and your bonus is earned before and after that. Basically if your willing to give up your life and work 24 / 7 this is the job for you. They will help you set up your personal phone and computer so you can work before and after work. You are considered a salaried employee, but they still make you clock in at work, except when you work the mandatory Saturday for 4 hours which you must do and then you don't have to clock in because it would show you working, I am sure it's a labor law issue, so they don't pay you more. Just remember this is a family owned and ran business so you have the people leading by example and sometimes the example they follow isn't always correct. PS, DM are hired weekly to replace other DM just like the Truck Drivers so your time will come.
