Pros

Your long prison sentence just ended and you are desperate. CR will still hire you and treat you almost as well as you are acustomed.

Cons

Manipulative, deceitful and criminal practices presented exceedingly well in extensive and ongoing training programs for evil minions... er, management. Actual lashing is discouraged publicly.

Pros

Nice rooms, friendly environment, game room, movie theatre, little convenience store. Training is fun but inadequate.

Cons

In training if you get in an accident of any kind during phase your done. Your side of the story won't matter to them. They are about getting you through as fast as they can the training is meager you will know very little about driving of your own

Worst Training Ever

Pros

You WILL get a CDL unless you are a complete moron

Cons

Everything else. From the lack of training (trainees are force fed the answers to the CDL exam while completely ignoring the rest of the DOT rules) to the horrible conditions trainees are forced to endure while in "school" the training is crap. Then the few that do graduate are forced onto the streets with a trainer that has little or no experience themselves. I was lucky and got one of the better trainers that had a good amount of experience but that is not the norm. After training they give you the hard sell on leasing and becoming a trainer right away (they even wanted me to finish my training by becoming a trainer!). Solo company drivers get low miles (less than 2000 a week) and the CPM is laughable. Take home for a new solo company driver would be between $250-$325 per week. Stay away from this company at all costs. The recruiters will tell you anything to get you to sign on. The only thing i was not lied to about was he had a bus ticket waiting for me.
