- Dev organization does not have work/life balance - Releases are not well planned and are whatever leadership feels like doing that week, so dev has to make up for it by working weekends - CTO leads dev, tech ops, QA, product, and CODES - Move to agile development is in name only, no cultural backing from leadership - High turnover: people quit frequently after a short tenure, and people are fired frequently - Parent company turns a blind eye to leadership's public verbal abuse of employees

A lot of the people who have worked here for ten plus years are not interested in change. They like to do things the "old way". It is difficult giving new ideas to employees that are not interested in learning to do things better. Prior to be being hired,HR introduced the company as a company that likes new ideas. They seem to be on a different page than the employees. I think older employees feel threatened by someone who has new and fresh ideas.
