The people are great! But they’re all you have.

Pros

I stayed on as long as I did because I adored my small team. I was able to work remote for most of the time which kept me from the drama on the floor and allowed me to focus on my job and the team. I had fantastic working relationships with the 2-3 other individuals I worked with, and really, I stayed on for them because I enjoyed collaborating with them every day. But a couple of awesome coworkers is not enough to sustain a career.

Cons

It’s embarrassingly well known in the area that CSC pays under market value. I knew that within a few weeks of taking the job. In the past few years, CSC acquired a huge company in the APAC region but structurally still functions like a small operation out of Wilmington, DE- and that’s not a good thing. Lots of favoritism, as in so-and-so can get away with doing this because they’re someone’s favorite, but YOU can’t do that…because that’s the rules! More social drama than I was comfortable with, and a LOT of people are unhappy. I was looking for a new job at the same time as 5-10 coworkers. During my time at CSC, the company issued a Return to Office mandate that everyone within a 50 mile radius had to start commuting in 3 days a week, even if you formerly worked remote as your job location. The trouble was that this extended to ADAs- all ADAs were “reevaluated” at this time, regardless of when you last recertified (I.e. you may have been approved for accommodations the next year and weeks later they’re rescinding and “reevaluating”). CSC is currently approaching ADAs as “accommodations SO THAT you can work in the office”. Due to the arbitrary return to office mandate, they took away work from home accommodations and threatened employment status if you didn’t comply. CSC is shiny and has pretty branded material and a big glass HQ (with air conditioning that breaks frequently), but the company knows how unhappy people are and they have not budged on things like salary. The 2025 employee satisfaction survey’s scores were remarkably low and the lowest I’d seen in my time there. Management was scrambling to find ways to make people feel heard and acknowledge the extremely low scores, meanwhile most of us felt nothing would change. I would not recommend this company for anyone to work for…unless you don’t mind drama and have a partner or cohabitant that makes enough for your bills.

Pros

The buildings are modern. You can work from home for 2 days a week. They hire people from all different backgrounds, experience, and education levels.

Cons

No more remote work, even for people who were initially hired as remote. They are denying ADA accommodations requested by doctors because they say it is within their rights to choose IF and HOW they accommodate disabled workers! There is no transparency, fairness, or honesty regarding this process or who makes these decisions. HR and leadership are rude and dismissive which makes it a hostile environment. They hire people in leadership and project management roles who have no idea what CSC does because they can "train" them. Not good for the customers who are expecting someone knowledgeable and experienced. Also, not empowering for the rest of us, because instead of promoting from within, they will hire someone external who has no competency in this field and pay them more than us! The pay is low, a lot of my colleagues who work 2nd jobs in restaurants or retail to make ends meet. It is very hard to get promoted, even if you excel at your role, if you aren't "popular" because of office politics. They want people in office but there aren't enough desks, so you have to "book" a desk and you have no idea who you will be sitting next to each day. There is also not enough parking so they ask you to park in a different lot and walk across the road in the cold with your laptop and bags. As other reviews have stated, some are given more privileges than others! It really just depends if you are one of the lucky ones.

Your comments are serious and concerning. We cannot imagine anyone at CSC being treated the way you are describing. Please talk to your leadership team or HR so we can better understand your experience.
