      Excellent local opportunity, but corporate reachback and support sucks.

      Pros

      Extensive knowledge management resources, but you need to go find them yourself. They are not shared globally. Great local team to work with. Very knowledgeable, professional computer scientists.

      Cons

      Local contract work is liking working on a desert island. Reachback to corporate resources is almost non-existent. Fortunately, the local team is a really good group, otherwise it would be like working for any small mom-and-pop, rather than a Big Three, 90,000+ employee multinational.

      Pros

      I always had opportunity to try beyond my comfort zone. At least my manager was supportive of my novel ideas and made sure I got the visibility I needed withing the group. Generally, my colleagues were supportive and helpful. If you are single and love to travel, there are opportunities for that as well. It is a good company to start your career. But eventually you may want to look for better opportunities.

      Cons

      Pay hikes are less in amount and in frequency. There is almost no growth in terms of new business except for occasional new clients. The management should learn to treat employees better (not that now they treat badly).

      Computer Sciences Health Care Consulting Slower than Christmas

      Pros

      Strong name in IT, strong work for the government, training program was fairly good helped to prepare for life and work as as a consultant, two weeks fully paid in Chicago for training members of the consulting group teach the classes adn have a genuine interest in helping you learn.

      Cons

      Poor management, very slow business development, slaes staff is terrible, never given a chanve to succeed, not given challeneging role, management will sell you out in order to save themselves, results delivered for the client were sub par
