worked as mainframe database admin.work was peaceful and no hassle.csc is government company and one can enjoy when in csc.the work pressure is nominal and one can enjoy life

Cons

there is not much scope to learn as management does nt give much chance to grow.most work done in onsite .also no onsite oppurtunity.its a company for people who dont want much hassle in life.however work depends on project to project and some developers do work very hard..so its upto the project and the manager.

I worked on an upgrade project. This is a good addition to my resume.

Cons

CSC management told us repeatedly that a technical path was not a good career path at CSC. If we wanted to advance, we needed to become a Business Analyst or Project Manager. I was a DBA and was not interested in going non-technical.
