Pros

Some nice people to work with, but bad management is a problem.

Cons

Employees do not get paid their carry-over vacation from the previous year when separating from the company. CSC has cut expenses and in doing so they have cut out paying their employees their vacation pay due them when the vacation was accrued in the previous year. See below: CSC HR policy on Employee Separation and in section 5.2 Final Paychecks it says the following: 5.2 Final Paychecks 5.2.1 Separating employees will be paid for actual hours worked and accrued vacation balance value, not including carry-over paid vacation balance except in cases of reduction in force, in accordance with applicable laws.

Pros

I was allowed to work from home any day I wanted. I was not micro-managed by any of my managers. The hours I worked each day were flexible. They only cared that I put in 8 hours per day.

Cons

Worst pay in the industry. All development moved off-shore. Terrible development practices. Outdated development technologies. No pay increases in past 4 years.

Pros

The box says 20 word minimum, but I'll tell you what, the only pro here is that you will never get fired for incompetence, only if they decide to cut headcount. So, if you're that person who manages to fake knowing middleware and get an admin job, you're gonna be sitting pretty because you will never be responsible for anything you screw up.

Cons

This is a great place to work if you like useless performance review processes that pretend to matter. Don't worry though, it will change next year when the align the timing with that of the new ecloudybizenterprizeyname then invent in April.
