Pros

There are none. If there are pros, then I cannot think of them at the moment.

Cons

I do not recommend working for this company especially the computer programming section. They put too much pressure on their employees and do not give any praise for their hard work. Say good-bye to family time during the holidays. They will make you work on the weekends and overwork you until you are stressed to your very core. What CSC does not realize is that they offer the world to their clients, but at the same time are whipping their employees to deliver what they promised. Stress is the number one killer. I can easily tell you that your life will be shorter if you decide to work for this company. I forgot to mention that someone who is working full time (and even overtime) is only getting paid part-time. Does that sound legally fair? I'd be careful CSC because you could be seeing a lawsuit upon your hands very soon.

Pros

Please note that I am a subcontractor for a government research and development center on the west coast, so I am not exposed to much of the "real" CSC on the east coast. - The learning center has decent material to learn new skills or sharpen existing ones - The company is making an effort to be more in touch with the employees - Again, the work is good if you're contracting/consulting with the right company

Cons

- Diminishing benefits. There are constant complaints about medical benefits options, the yearly match for 401ks as opposed to per paycheck. - Even though the company is restructuring, there is little to no communication between managers and employees (I still have not held a conversation with my CSC manager) - Judging from the emails, it seems like more and more people are leaving the company
