Limited progression options.
I wrote an email stating "there is efficiency and there is the battery farming of human labour and this is very, very clearly the latter" before moving to another position. Nobody denied the truth of this, even when I was called into several disciplinary meetings regarding it, which were deliberately designed to keep me after hours and which one member of staff attempted to record without my consent. I was told a team of 16 people were working on the issue, where I pointed out their employment practices were willfully creating highly negative health outcomes. The overall response was similar to Chinese factories installing suicide nets e.g. they wanted not to fix the problem but to make me withdraw my criticism and avoid any possible resulting legal liabilities.
