Pros

Strong company culture with supportive people The company has a strong culture, and people across teams are genuinely supportive. CSG follows a flexible-first approach, which makes it easier to manage work in a sustainable way. One of the best parts of working here is the opportunity to solve complex problems, which keeps the work challenging and meaningful.

Cons

Benefits have gradually reduced over time. The company used to have a more robust appraisal process, but last year it introduced a forced curve. As a result, some employees feel dissatisfied because performance ratings now come with labels such as low impact or mid impact, which can feel limiting and discouraging.

Pros

Good technologies to work. 100% Work from home.

Cons

The primary challenge within this organization is a significant gap between the technical staff and mid-level leadership. The culture tends to prioritize internal politics and "optics" over technical excellence. A major bottleneck is the lack of technical literacy among certain managers. For example, some leadership roles are filled by individuals from sales backgrounds who lack the foundational technical knowledge required for the department. This leads to several systemic issues: Inefficient Time Allocation: Engineers spend a disproportionate amount of time educating management on basic concepts rather than executing projects. Blocked Innovation: Strategic, cost-saving ideas are frequently sidelined simply because leadership does not have the technical capacity to evaluate or understand them. Cultural Decay: The environment currently favors hearsay and office politics over merit-based achievements.
