Cons

I left my previous high paying job to join CSG. I joined and was on high hopes. I was told about the internal politics by the VP and I was reporting to the director who was nice person. A scrum master was brought in and we went on creating a new product which they had no clue on. In the meanwhile I asked VP about getting clarity on role and highlighted the potential of the new product if we can do it ourselves than adopting a third party solution. I defended few of their stupid ideas in terms of design. We went for an interaction in another office. I defined the whole agenda. Gave a much appreciated presentation which shaped a whole new approach. I literally had people saying that I made their life better and they were missing someone like me. Returning back, 2 weeks i was graciously working on the design and VP called me. I walked with him and he was directing me to HR. I thought they are giving me an award.. no they did not and instead they asked me to resign, The previous week same thing happened a senior architect who was fired and he didn't know why. That time I was feeling sorry for him. Not much days later, I got it. I had no Visa, my previous job was gone and I was shattered! I could never forget his face when he offered me his support to find another job. I shrugged and asked if it was for the clarification i asked on the role.. he said no!
