Pros
Good health benefits. They buy food from discount food stores for lunch for the employees.
Cons
Long hours without breaks because there's no one to cover for you because they're either too busy or aren't scheduled when you work. No work/life balance. They constantly have to hire new people because people quit so often and quickly. Rules apply to some people, but not all. Management shows favoritism to certain individuals. I call it the schmooze and smoke club. If you are a smoker, you get to take a lot of breaks and kiss managements butt while on your smoke break. The no cell phone rule applies to some, while others get to watch movies while at their desk. Some positions are standing on their feet for long hours. If you're a Plasma Processing Technician, you are on your feet all day, plus you have to go into a freezer that is 64 degrees below freezing several times a day for short periods without coat, gloves, or hat. The people that work the donor floor, and reception sometimes get harassed and threatened by donors.
