Pros

The hours are flexible hours sometimes. Great starter job.

Cons

They keep extending the hours. Management is childish sometimes but corporate doesn't care. Working with their insurance company is torture. They care more about the donors than they do the workers. Not to mention you should get paid more since you're working with bodily fluids.

The good and the bad of being an employee of CSL Plasma

The staff is almost like family. The donors are awesome. The feeling that you are doing your small part in helping others in need of medicines made by plasma. It is a fast paced work environment. There is room for career advancement within the company.

Cons

The hours are long some days. Some donors take frustration out on you when they are deferred from donating. Training of new employees seems like it's rushed through. The turnover of help is non-stop it seems. The ongoing training for all employees takes away from the overall performance of the center as a while because it causes the various areas to be shorthanded.
