Pros

Great for 18-25 year olds who are just starting out and looking for basic...VERY basic phlebotomy skills. I really have no other pros, but need a 20 word minimum for this field.

Cons

Management sucks. Plain and simple. It's favoritism and cliques are similar to high school. Donors treat you with very little respect and management does absolutely nothing about it. Some donors come in with foul body odor, dirty fingernails and their clothes are not clean. They appear to be homeless. How these donors make it past screening, I don't know. A certified phlebotomist walks in at an hourly pay of $9.76 per hour, sometimes even less than that. The "closing" hours will have you guessing what time you will even get home.

Pros

PTO at least up to 15 the 1st year. Just a check

Cons

Favoritism, Gossiping, Horrible management, cursing to the donors, not respect to basic OSHA rules. Short staff, bad pay for the amount of work. More than 6 employees left for the lack of professionalism.I have seen people in management Looking for ways to fire good employees regaardless of how good they are just because they dislike them. A horrible place to work.

Pros

- Entry level experience. - Flexible scheduling for college students.

Cons

-Horrible training program - few days of classroom training (reading SOPS), followed by questions and a live performance on the day you just learned the information. Not enough time to absorb information. - To many occupational risks associated with Blood and Plasma. - VERY LOW pay for the amount of work you will be doing. - Unorganized management team and scheduling for staff. (Expect holidays and weekends often)
