Pros
- Low expectations, so very little is required to stay empolyed - DEI is still active
Cons
- independent thought is demonized and will bring censure - mgmt is incompetent (Peter Principle, anyone?) - communication is horrid sitewide - mgmt cannot communicate effectively with employees - hypocrisy is rampant in mgmt - many employees feel their job security being threatened by others, so they will withhold information to the detriment of others, mostly due to incompetence - hiring practices are atrocious, most employees do not know what they're doing, and competent workers leave within 2-3 years, leading to high turnover - cronyism and favoritism are what drive promotions - knee-jerk reactions and a "this is the way we've always done it" mentality predominate decision-making processes - unclear and nebulous requirements for promotion I could keep going, but you get the point.
