Good insurance and benefits if you have a family. Pay is good but not great until seniority gained. You’ll be able to keep up with the joneses.

No life. Expect to be on-call for about 10yrs.

Benefits are a plus but slowly dwindling away unless you are at the highest levels.

Cons

The place used to be great but these days they are doing everything to get out of paying their employees or just to get rid of them entirely. Management from the bottom up are extremely unqualified and only placed in the positions because they say yes to anything their boss tells them despite violating laws across the board and environmental procedures. Employees that try to do the right things or follow the law are retaliated against.
