Business side sucks as the company can make a billion dollars in profits in a year and they want to lay people off because they didn't make 1.1 billion. Union sucks, no representation because the company has them in their back pocket. Get told on your first day of training you have lucked out in life and landed a career but then get laid off twice in a little over 2 years. If you're not out of your apprenticeship, a journeyman can get laid off 1,000 miles away and come take your job without warning. when they get there they'll escort you off the property like you're a felon or something. luckily my bosses were cool and let me know a couple of days beforehand--which they are NOT supposed to do--to avoid that situation.

Working all hours. Fear of being fired daily. Harassment. Intimidation. Ruling by fear. Rules that should apply to people with a preschool brain. Say they care about safety but only the bottom line. Craps on employees. Spies on employees. Threatens people who are hurt on the job. Holds investigations with fake idiot lawyers. Some managers have no idea whats going on. Little time with family. No social life if you cared to have one. Likes to poke employees with pitch forks when irritated.
