      The pay is better than most these days

      Cons

      You're just an employee ID number. Too many people given positions that require extensive railroad knowledge and yet they have absolutely none. For example, someone with a degree in accounting is hired as a Trainmaster, but this person has no prior transportation experience. The employees in the field would be the better candidates.
