Pros

Executive management (CEO, CFO, CIO, etc.) is absolutely, without exception, top notch. Great benefits, flexible time off policies, the best co-workers I've ever had, good PC work environment

Cons

More meetings than productivity, advancement gridlock, inconsistent performance management, self-promotion is rewarded while production receives more work. Many long-timers are completely complacent and snarl at the suggestion of change. Employees are behind in technology knowledge (more snarling) and scoff at the knowledge of younger peers.

Pros

Great pay and benefits! Takes best care of employees! Great opportunity for advancement. Unmatched retirement benefits. Also provides relocation assistance

Cons

The managment trainee program involves a lot of travel. This can be extremely taxing on someone with a family. Can be very political.

Pros

The pay and great benefits the company has to offer are good they also offer health and wellness program. This is a long term career path lots of growth opportunity with this company. The people you work with are like a family try to watch out for one another. Opportunity to travel see other places. offer a safety bonus for your first two years and a stock option for never missing work and demand day off every 90 days. 2 weeks vacation and 10 personal days after your first year.

Cons

Some of the challenges with this company is that it is a economy driven business. Its hard to keep working your first few years in some locations. So many rules that are always changing hard to keep up with. Always seem to run trains at night not the day so its hard to get use to trying to find out when to rest. Never really know when you might get called. Got to live by the phone. Good words to live by, Safety first double check everything. Never get in a hurry. Always be ready and stay ready just when you think your not going to get called your phone will ring to come to work.
