This company is run by a woman who grew up as a technical recruiter. She is good at placing resources into low-level opportunities with the State of Indiana due to her relationships there. However, these roles are staff augmentation, not project roles. As long as you can be billable at a good rate, you'll be fine -- you'll be ignored. The moment your contract ends, you'll be asked to take a pay cut. If you refuse, you'll be fired. You may be fired anyway. The company has established this pattern.
There's absolutely no strategy at work there. No proper consulting is coming out of this tiny shop. The work they get is awarded by virtue of their low-rates as a woman-owned business.
