Pros

Let say that you are somewhat a perfect employee, and your ultimate goal is to get on at this job as a full-time employee with benefits. You're always on time; you are friendly, assist in training new employees, and volunteer for overtime. In addition, you have worked for this company for years; even your primary supervisor tells you that your amazing. Please understand that you won't get the job fulltime. If your goal is to get benefits, please don't put all your eggs in this basket I promise you it is highly unlikely that you will. If you have it in your mind to make money in exchange for work, then make it your primary goal. Do not be an overachiever here; this is not the place to do so. You will be hurt in the end and looking crazy. Your supervisor might tell you he will put in the right word for you, and the temp agency might say that they here good things about you. That's going to excite you. Please understand once again; you will not be hired full time with benefits. This is an excellent second job; this can even be a great primary job, but do not think that you are unique, and the company needs you. You are not that important to them. What's important to the CEO is only that check to them. Make your money, save it, continue working hard, and wait for the day you receive a phone call stating that you have been laid off. IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU. It happens to everyone. Make money, save it, have fun, and try to make it until friday.

Cons

When Monday comes don't rush to work you may be getting a call before your shift begins stating you have been laid off. I'm thinking about going back to make extra income temporarily, though. They typically start doing lay off on individuals around the 8th month or getting ready to touch a year of employment.
