Pros

Pay was good for my position.

Cons

Every time someone writes a poor review about CTDI, I notice it's followed with a 5 star review, saying something like this "CTDI is an exciting, fast-paced, industry-leading company that provides tremendous career opportunities... requires critical thinking, hard work and a strong commitment to doing the job right and to servicing the customer in order for CTDI to be successful. But the environment brings out the best in its employees and also gives them the opportunity to..." It' is obvious someone in HR is creating these 5 star reviews to draw attention from the poor reviews. After watching how employees were being verbally abused and beaten down, and having to attend these ridiculous daily meetings with ownership to go over numbers, I realized it was not the place for me and walked. My happiness and health were too important to spend one minute longer working for these people. It is true, the nepotism is very evident and it IS a fear based work culture.

Pros

CTDI has programs in place that help individuals grow in their professional, and every day lives. The Parsons have a vision for excellence and expect nothing less. Everything I learned at CTDI, has translated well to other positions of leadership I have held. The benefits are second to none and you will create bonds with people here that will last a life time. CTDI has so much potential, and I only wish them the best in their future endeavors.

Cons

The reason I decided to not give CTDI a higher rating, largely has to do with the fact that many "Good ole boys" get put into positions they have no business in. The second part of this, is the Upper management seems to put a lot of stock into these people, and when their short coming are exposed. Often time upper management take a "The sky is falling" approach. They will quickly throw their supervisors, and repair managers under the bus when talking to the executive team. They also will terminate good people, just to prove a point. This can come across as archaic in nature. There are so many talented people there at the Lakeside branch. However, they are often over looked and treated poorly. Unfortunately, this has caused many of these talented individuals to leave the company. Many of the managers are not very tech savvy, and get away with sitting in front of their laptops barking orders. I doubt my senior repair manager, and ops manager even knew how to read a schematic. Much less try to drive certain processes that were necessary to deliver results.

Pros

Average benefits, marketplace salary when first hired, then do not expect anything greater than a 1.9% annual increase, if there is an increase. Many years, there are none with the company saying they are reinvesting.

Cons

No job security. Contracts continually lost for poor performance and poor pricing bids. Executive management are all related and occupy 99% of senior positions. Everyone gets the same annual raise, worst employees receive the same as best, and vice versa.
