Pros

It is a easy job.

Cons

Was micro-managed about UPH (Units Per Hour) even though the testing equipment was always broken. No room for growth. I did two weeks of training to become a Certified Level II Tech was never moved to a tech position nor did I get a pay increase. They actually shut down the repair department on 3rd shift. They offered forklift training, but for some reason I was never selected. Was lied to about getting re-hired by my supervisor. I resigned due to a personal reason and was told by my supervisor that I was 100% eligible for re-hire. When I applied to come back HR told me I was in-eligible due to "attendance" even though management preached every Friday during our stand up meeting to stay home if you were sick or around anyone who was sick. Also we were told to stay home if we were getting COVID-19 tested. Apparently they do not excuse doctors notes. Even with a doctors note you still get infractions (points). My wife who also works for CTDI was threatened to get fired due to attendance, but has doctors notes for all of her absences for when she had to take the kids to the doctor. She has been dealing with heart problems and actually went to work with her heart monitor on, instead of asking was she okay, management pressed her on when she was returning to work.

Pros

Healthcare benefit is solid, but vision plan is only accepted at a few local options

Cons

- Literally everything else - Everyone is overloaded, overworked and unmanaged - There is no management structure, everyone does what their Parsons (the owners) wants, and that can and will change overnight - The company doesn't pay its bills and you get to answer for it - Resources you count on to meet objectives disappear overnight with no warning or explanation; it's your job to "figure it out" - Promises are made by the Parsons to customers, then broken and, you guessed it, it's your job to take the blame and "figure it out" - Covid protocols were not followed during the height of the pandemic (no masks worn while seated in the office), resulting in entire teams infected with no contact tracing communication from HR - Workforce is extremely disengaged, most are just doing what needs to be done to keep the job and retire or leave - Zero workforce development, advancement or training effort by the Parsons; they literally view their workers as liabilities and, the minute the Profit/Loss dips, start yelling "get 'em out", i.e. fire/layoff or move employees and release contractors

Pros

Weekly paychecks and good insurance

Cons

The facility that I worked at was a total chaos. Leadership was changed 3 times in the 4 months I worked there. There is no clear directive from the leadership. The directives changes each day which causes mass confusion within the facility. There are too many different managers giving different instructions or directives at the same time which also cause confusion. Their is no type of training provided to leadership when they start. Its a sink or swim type of atmosphere.
