Where to begin? They have zero training. My second day on the job they had me using computer programs I've never seen before. That's fine, but don't get upset that I haven't mastered it by lunch. I worked there six months and still aren't 100% sure what they do. The office is terrible, 6ft high cubicles create a feeling of isolation. Everyone that works there is at least 50, so its impossible for a kid out of college to fit in.
The job itself made me feel like a droid. Everyday was the same- enter the same data in a computer each day, and only get noticed if you screw up. Management is nonexistant. I admire what the company founder did, but he's dead now and his kids can't run a business. Just because your last name is Parsons doesn't mean you should be allowed to head a department.
No performance reviews
Weak Christmas bonus (admittedly i wasn't there that long so I was happy to get a $20 bill, but employees who have been there for 20 years should get at least $100)
Promotions were based on who you were friends with rather than merit
Day was 7:45am - 4:45pm.
