Pros

Only morning shift and it is a bit flexible. Breaks are respected, even encouraged. Work from home available (not fully). The actual work is easy if you pay attention. Compensation is always on time. PTO days are respected (99%). Surprisingly, the branch manager shows empathy when it comes to special events (funeral, wedding, sickness etc).

Cons

Some managers are completely unaware of basic empathy, decency etc. Work culture is based on cliques. Rivalry between employees, sustained by the managers and the branch manager (subtle). The salary is livable, but quite small. We’re being lied to about our project quality, which leads to pressure and stress. No performance bonuses whatsoever, only some “pizza parties”. Fake workmates as a result of competitiveness. Do not trust anyone! Sometimes we get yelled at just like parents yell at their kids, which is weird for a workplace full of adults. No possibility to advance to other roles, that is reserved for the right cliques and for the ones who know how to lick boots. Or maybe for the ones who know how to be cunning and manipulative.
