Pros

If you like going home everyday hating your life this is the place to be!

Cons

If you make over minimum wage, watch out the company is trying to eliminate every position that makes a livable wage! Most shifts only have 2 employees trying to do the work of 10 people, soon those employees will be replaced with cardboard cutouts! And let's not even get started on how CVS has almost single handedly completely destroyed the entire pharmacist profession!

Pros

Co workers are supportive and nice, if you need a snack you don't have far to go bc you are in a store, that's about it!

Cons

Poor management, low pay, hours, no support, all about the money, no use of clinical knowledge well, lots of secretary duties, multiple job duties in one but not paid for all the duties! No help, you work alone, be ready to get cussed out by patients who don't get antibiotics! High turnover!! You could loose your job if your NPS score is low!! On call is required!! And weekends!!

Pros

Very professional colleagues who are supportive and available. Was nice to practice in an autonomous environment. Store staff supportive and empathetic. Very rewarding to develop relationships with clients who became regulars.

Cons

Company as a whole is retail-oriented instead of medically oriented. Numbers of clients seen is uppermost in culture, with number one emphasis being bringing in patients as opposed to providing quality care. When clinics become successful additiional support for the quantity of clients seen is not provided. Providers work in what is essentially a large closet and, if clinic is successful you work in this closet for hours with llittle opportunity to go to the bathroom, hydrate or just take a "time-out". Management is not acccessible or responsive. If you become ill - which is inevitable when you see large numbers of sick patients in a small "closet" management expects you to contact your own coverage or work while you are sick. Little to no opportunity to advance. While store staff is supportive they are not medical professionals.
