      Pros

      If you're going to school, CVS works because management is generally understanding about the need for a flexible schedule. Benefits for part time workers is also a plus. You can meet some good, insightful people working with CVS.

      Cons

      The annual raises aren't remarkable. It also seems that you have alot of responsibilities for very little compensation. Senior management seems ignorant of store operations and leaves store management with very little help.

      CVS DSM and Rx. Supervisors ignores the Best Pharmacy Practice regarding DUR and Patient's Safty over RX. SALES $$$$!

      Pros

      Benefits and coworkers. CVS does provides structured online training but Phamacy trainer is not very effective in field training.

      Cons

      The RX.Supervisors and DSM are not at all sincere. They say one thing and never delivers what they promises. The Rx. Supervisor and DSM are cluless when it comes down topharmacy practice but only cares for their ego and their Bonus!! Rx. Supervisor totally disregards Drug Utilization Review and Patient's Safty over Customer Complaints for RX Sales! They always sides with Drug abusing customers never stands by Phaarmacists or Pharmacy Technicians.

      Decent benefits, poor work enviroment

      Pros

      Decent starting pay. Good benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with matching contributions, ESPP; all for someone who works 1 day per month per diem.

      Cons

      Tech hours seem to get cut more and more. Tech and Pharmacist work 10 hour shifts with 15 min at most for lunch. Was told by my Pharmacy Manager that even though I have never been late or absent and have done an excellent job, the highest raiting they can give on performance reviews is a 3 out of 5, to anyone! No raise in sight, was told that the company does not approve raises often.
