      Great job for somone that is single or does not care about family life

      Pros

      Good pay, The company makes it very clear when they hire you as an assistant manager that they are hiring you to become a store manager. With that said they expect you to perform and be consistant with work performance day in and day out.

      Cons

      They make you work alot of hours without overtime pay. whoever is looking at this for an actuall insite on the company it is not a place for you if you think im going to come in do my 9.5 hours a day (45 hour salary position) and go home you are completly mistaken. Rightnow there is a class action lawsuit against CVS for overwoking the assistants and not paying them accordingly

      There are many work locations available and the pay is competitive. Benefits packages are available for both full-time and part-time employees.

      Cons

      In the last 2 years, CVS's focus seems to have shifted from patient care and employee satisfaction onto data only.

      Pros

      I love helping customer find what they are looking for and getting to know them.

      Cons

      There is a lot of preference within the store management team with the hourly associates. Personal information get shared regarding other hourly associates. No sense of urgency when it comes to customer service, especially when the store manager is not there.
