      Fair pay, fair benefits, not much to say here.

      Cons

      Understaffing, new task or changing tasks every day, week, month. This company has preached culture change but really needs a culture change mid management up! If you want an extreme pressure, very demanding, thankless job then by all means become a manager for CVS. Enjoy working 10-14 hour days, never getting holidays off and even losing vacation time every year. This company lacks integrity but, you have been warned.

      Pros

      Vision and innovation flows from the top down and Larry Merlo (and others) are doing a nice job of continuing the legacy that Tom Ryan started with the merger of CVS and Caremark. Work/life balance is stressed and very achievable. Most employees I've encountered a very loyal to the company and have a passion for improving the lives of our customers. "Make it happen" is the mentality.

      Cons

      Very little opportunity for advancement - or at the very least you have to really dig and claw to find the opportunities The technology the company uses is ridiculously antiquated. Salaries at the sales level are well-below industry standard and there is zero way to better align that - 2% merit increases don't even keep up with cost of living increases.
