Triple S is a joke. If a customer doesn't give you all 5's (1 being worst) on the metrics being measured, it counts against you. Front store management is more concerned about you answering the phone in 20 seconds than if you've got enough help. Technician hours are constantly being reduced. There is hardly any pharmacist overlap (no lunch). Pharmacists sometimes work 14 hour shifts with no breaks. We now are telemarketers. We have to call patients to see if they want prescriptions refilled. It's all about the volume. They hand out 25 dollar coupons for new Rx's and transfers into the store all the time and wonder why their margins are dropping. They promote pharmacists into management that are pretty much right out of school, who have never worked anywhere else but CVS, are single or married with NO CHILDREN, and pretty much have no idea what the pharmacy profession is all about. If you don't "drink the CVS coolaid", you have no chance at promotion. All they want are people who will do their (upper field management) bidding and not ask any questions.
