      Pros

      A lot of very, very smart people working there. CEO is a nice guy, if a touch disconnected. Tries very hard to care about employees - much of the staff is caring and open.

      Cons

      A few personalities on the executive staff are overly abrasive and lack conflict management skills. Executive management team all worked their way up in the company - they're all smart and ambitious people, but not necessarily management material. It's kind of obvious that leadership is lacking. Low pay for skill set required and number of hours you are expected to work.

      Pros

      The company strives to create the best software in its target market and promotes a positive work environment. The senior executives are honest and fair in their management styles. The employees are hard-working, friendly, and easy to work with.

      Cons

      The company has a distributed workforce with the ability to work from home, which is fantastic, however because of this, feeling like being part of a team can suffer.

      Pros

      The company is fairly small, but growing, which leads to knowing most of the people in the company. Job security is good, the company tends to not let people go even when they are disliked and not so good at their job. Everyone in the company works from home, so you're free to live anywhere you want so long as you have an Internet connection.

      Cons

      The company regularly pays below market value. Opportunity for advancement is ok. Most of the higher ups have been with the company for a long time and don't seem to be going anywhere. This means you'll eventually hit a wall that might be hard to climb.
