I was at CXT Software when the acquisition happened, and honestly? The first few months were rough. A lot of uncertainty, new processes to learn, different culture to get used to — it's a lot to take in all at once. But if you can push through that adjustment period, there's actually a lot to like about being part of a bigger organization like Ionic. Things are more structured now, the tools are better, and there's more room to grow than there ever was before.

Any transition comes with growing pains, but my team has shown a ton of resilience during the acquisition. Leadership’s been open about what’s going on and willing to listen to new ideas. There’s good exposure to both the old and new sides of the business, which makes it a great learning experience. If you like problem-solving and working with people who genuinely care, it’s a solid place to be.
