      Site families and fun. Good job getting creative to meet goals

      Cons

      Lack of training. Don't adhere to loyalty-- destroys anything that rewards loyalty. Inconsistent management.

      Pros

      Pays the bills during the holiday rush. But they play favorites with hiring people who have been working for the company before you were, even if you're more qualified, so don't plan on a job once the rush is over.

      Cons

      The pay is horrible. How can Cabela's plan to keep good people at $10 an hour? That's just embarrassing. You won't have a life, either, mandatory to work every weekend, and days off are during the week. Shifts vary all over the hours, too, and aren't the same from even week to week. No planning ahead for anything with family members, unless you give up your hours and take a hit on your paycheck.

      Pros

      Worked in my field of expertise, around like-minded individuals, aid people in getting the equipment that is right for them to enjoy the outdoors.

      Cons

      a constant reminder to push the credit card to any and all customers, if you aren't pushing the credit card you receive pressure from management, a serious struggle to keep the shelves/pegs stocked for our store, always out of the hot products for our area (hard to sell what you don't have)
