      Love of outdoors, like very rural area

      this place is full of discrimination.....where is the diversity they talk about. too many people are fired because they do not fit the good ole boy mold. i can tell you about women, minorities, gays, mixed race people that have either lost their job or have left because of the discrimination. then when you tell someone about it they get rid of you. I have heard the EEOC is now investigatining

      Terrible Local Management in Hoffman Estates

      If you are an avid outdoors person (hunting, fishing, etc.) it's like being let loose in a candy store

      Cons

      Management is terrible - demeaning, incompetent in its handling of management functions such as scheduling, employee retention, employee motivation. GM and Asst. GM rally the tropps by reading spreadsheets to them. If sales are down, store management blames the rank and file for not pushing product hard enough. There are also too many money- making gimmicks such as credit cards, product insurance, etc.

      What is up here. We had a terrible 4th quarter and they still are not doing anything about it. I am sure with the compass scores that will probably happen someone will loose their job again. Why is it that a company this large is so much in trouble with HR.
