      Pros

      Many co-workers are very passionate about the products Cabela's sells because they are passionate about the outdoors and the outdoor activities that the company supports. This makes for a unique work environment where people are knowledgeable and hepful. It also helps to form a feeling of comradery.

      Cons

      Along with many other retail environments the pay is sub-par. Definitely not a working wage. Best used only as supplimental income. Now because of ObamaCare most jobs offer well under 30 hours of work per week. Health insurance is expensive and covers virtually nothing. Management is constantly changing and is embroiled in inter-office politics and favoritism. Upward mobility within the company is nearly impossible as transfering from other departments, other stores, and outside the company is the preferred method of filling higher level positions.
