Cons
Where does one start? They let known child molesters just walk. They will terminate their employment, but will not notify law enforcement until the person is gone. The administrative staff are narcissists. They truly do not care about staff. They talk trash to your face and let you know just how replaceable you are. We loved working for BR initially, but our eyes were opened to the corruption going on behind the scenes. leadership is hired on the buddy system and are often not qualified for the positions they hold. Working with children is not about making money. It is about making a difference. Too bad leadership is in it for the outstanding pay that should be going to the house parents who do the real work. The therapists that work out there aren't actually therapists. I mean they may have a degree and a license, but they get paid so well that they don't concern themselves with improving the child and helping alleviate the trauma that they went through. There is not enough room to list the cons, but to sum it up just know that the people that run this place do not uphold the "Christ centeredness" of the organization. They are evil and would rather their staff be submissive to them.
